Having recently purchased a cavernous new build home designed in Regency style, my client's brief was to "cosy up" the large rooms and make the extensive open-plan spaces feel more like a family home than a show home.

To achieve this, textured wallpapers, soft country-style linens, bespoke joinery, and ambient lighting were introduced, creating a sense of relaxed country warmth and comfort throughout.

Bespoke joinery was commissioned for several rooms, while large, oversized statement furniture and lighting were selected to bring balance to the expansive spaces. 

The resulting effect of wrapping warming wallpapers around rooms and introducing appropriately or oversized furnishings within this large family home was a great success; each area expressing character, individuality and style.
